Welcome to Old Paramus Church, a congregation affiliated with the Reformed Church in America, and one of the oldest churches in northern New Jersey. Celebrating over 280 years of ministry, we give thanks for our rich history and look toward the future with enthusiasm and hope. At Old Paramus, the visitor will find a warm greeting; the worshipper lifted by inspiring music and practical, Biblical preaching; the seeker be spiritually enriched; and everyone find an offering of groups and ministries in which to become involved. We hope to be able to greet you next Sunday and be able to share the love of Jesus Christ with you and your family. May God bless you.

Official Portrait Unveiled The Consistory of Old Paramus Reformed Church commissioned an official portrait of Rev. Thomas C. Marsden to be displayed in the Church Parlor along with the portraits of past ministers of the church. On Sunday, April 1, 2007, the portrait was unveiled at a special Reception held in Fellowship Hall. Elder Bruce Strengberg officiated at the unveiling ceremony, and then Judy Marsden, with assistance from Elder Carol O'Neill, pulled away the cloth which was covering the portrait. A catered lunch was provided for all who attended. The portrait was taken by Ted Haviland, OPRC member known for his fine photography. Now retired, he owned his own studio in the area for many years. Mr. Haviland also took the photographs of two previous ministers that are displayed in the Church Parlor. |
