The Interefaith Religious Group of Ridgewood will hold a Thanksgiving Service on Tuesday, November 20, at 7:30 PM. The location is an expression of solidarity with the Jewish Community of Ridgewood in light of the tragedy that recently took place in Pittsburgh. The service will be held at Temple Israel, 475 Grove St. in Ridgewood. The many participating congregations will share their own expressions of faith in this impressive service as they all give thanks together.
You are asked to bring a donation of non-perishable food to give to the food bank. The community choir invites anyone interested to join them as they rehearse under the direction of Mike Ross, Choir Director, and Hye In Jang, Pianist, both of the Community Church of Upper Ridgewood. Stewart Holmes, Organist at Old Paramus, will be playing the prelude for this event. Rehearsal immediately precedes the service at 6:30 PM. Temple Israel is handicapped accessible and there is ample free parking in a well lit lot at the rear of the building. Additional questions may be addressed to the Temple office weekdays from 9 AM to 1:30 PM at 201-444-9320.
